PR Studio Revitalization
Art Direction • Experiential Design • Collateral Design
Reimagined The Washington Post's 7th floor PR studio, the space journalists use for national broadcast hits on outlets like CNN, MS NOW, and Fox. Crafted multiple pitch decks proposing physical upgrades — walls, flooring, furniture, tech, and vinyl treatment for the glass window behind the journalist — to modernize a decade-old space and support a shift toward a more proactive, DIY booking approach for talent across broadcast, podcast, and new media.
Partnered with PR and production stakeholders through months of iteration to develop a final production proposal that met the full scope of the ask while landing under budget. Delivered upgrades to the stage, camera technology, and furniture, along with a PDLC film enabling the glass window to switch between clear and opaque at the push of a button, and designed new vinyl artwork for the window to better feature the brand.
Deck that imagined a fully revitalized studio from the ground up, including surfaces, furniture, backdrops, and lighting.
